4 May 2008 Sunday Food for thought!

Num 23:19, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (KJV)

How often is it that we forget the soundness, the integrity of God’s Word?

Definition for “integrity”: 1. Wholeness; entireness; unbroken state. The constitution of the U. States guaranties to each state the integrity of its territories. The contracting parties guarantied the integrity of the empire.

2. The entire, unimpaired state of any thing, particularly of the mind; moral soundness or purity; incorruptness; uprightness; honesty. Integrity comprehends the whole moral character, but has a special reference to uprightness in mutual dealings, transfers of property, and agencies for others. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

Is our integrity, our word as sound as the Father’s? How seriously does one take the words which they speak? Food for thought!
