In conflict!

Part 2

Imbedded reporters!

V25 N6

In the recent conflict which took place in Iraq, the coalition forces, did something that most people thought had not been done before during a military conflict. The military used imbedded reporters to convey a description of what the reporter observed as taking place. Each reporter presented that which they perceived to be transpiring in whatever location of the war they were taking part in. Each reporter gave a description of what was taking place in their segment of the action, and then when combined with all of the other reporters, gave one an overview of the action that was taking place, and the progress that was being made.

Now, even though there were these first hand accounts coming forth from the front lines, did everyone believe the accounts that were being given? Or, were all of the accounts being given accurate? And, how often did they believe the criticisms of those that were not even there, but rather giving their opinions and own agenda from miles away?

Now again, one must remember what a conflict or struggle is. The conflicts or struggles come about from varying ideas, thoughts or opinions of the people reporting, and those receiving the information. How often does one consider that what is being given for information, is misinformation, just for the purpose of promoting conflict?

Matthew 25:34, Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: KJV

John 17:24, Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. KJV

Acts 15:18, Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. KJV

From the beginning of the creation of the world, God had a purpose and plan for fellowship with mankind. The conflict between God and man came about when man and woman opted to listen to the reports of the devil, rather then the life-giving instructions of the Creator. God presented and reported the truth to man, while the devil presented a perversion of the information given, thus creating a conflict between God and man, when man acted on the misinformation, rather then the truth.

Now, one thing that one must keep in the forefront of their mind, is that God from the beginning knew the choice that man would make in giving ear to the misinformation given him by the devil, so that before the creation, God already made a plan and provision for the restoration of and for mankind, and fellowship with him.

As one looks at the Bible, the Word of God, one can see that God has from the beginning placed imbedded reporters among mankind to give us an accurate overview of the conflict between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil.

Now, since God placed these imbedded reporters on the scene, to give a firsthand account of what was transpiring, how many did believe, have believed and are believing God’s imbedded reporters? Have their reports been accepted by the people?

Take a look at Numbers chapter 13, here we can see the God told the people to go and possess the land. So when the imbedded reporters returned from checking out the land that God had told them to go and possess, which reporters did the people believe? Those that confirmed God’s promises, or those that presented the opposing view of the devil?

Numbers 13:30-31, 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. KJV

How often do you believe or side with the majority? How often are you quick to follow the crowd, rather then to believe the report given by God’s reporters?

How often when God asks something of you, do you believe what other people say before the counsel that God wants to give you? Is it any wonder that so many people have constant conflicts or struggles within their lives?

We are told that we are to be risen with Christ; this is the report that Paul gives us. Do you believe it? Do you even believe that Paul was God’s imbedded reporter?

Colossians 3:1-3, 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. KJV

Are you risen with Him, or is your life still in conflict?

That you may know Him,

In the service of Jesus Christ.
